Santo Domingo, RD. – El gobierno concreti­zó ayer acuerdos con las plantas televisoras de la República Dominicana pa­ra que a través de esos me­dios sea transmitida la do­cencia a partir del dos de noviembre, fecha en que se inicia el año escolar pa­ra el periodo 2020-2021.

El acuerdo fue firma­do por el presidente de la República, Luis Abinader; el ministro de Educación, Roberto Fulcar, así como por los dueños y ejecuti­vos de medios televisivos entre los cuales se desta­can Manuel Corripio, del Grupo Corripio; Domingo Bermúdez, por Color Vi­sión; Juan Ramón Gómez Díaz, del Grupo Telemicro; Manuel Estrella, por CDN Canal 37; Por Antena 7 Jo­sé León, por la CERTV, Nel­son Marte. Estuvo presen­te por Radio Educativa, Miguel Ortega.

El ministro de Educación, Roberto Fulcar, manifestó que este año escolar repre­senta un gran reto del que el país debe salir airoso en medio de la pandemia ge­nerada por el Covid 19.

“Este año debe contar con el trabajo de todos, pa­ra que los resultados sean positivos en favor del país. Los medios de comunica­ción son fundamentales en la formación de la socie­dad y nos enorgullece mu­cho que respondiendo a esa responsabilidad social, de manera entusiasta es­tán participando en el Plan Educación para Todos Pre­servando la Salud”, dijo.

Fulcar adelantó que en los próximos días se hará lo mismo con los canales del cable y los UHF.

Dijo que el rol de la te­levisión en el nuevo mode­lo educativo será que a tra­vés de esas plantas, igual que la radio, el cable y la Internet, estarán materiali­zando los procesos educa­cionales para garantizar el acceso de todo su personal docente y los estudiantes al proceso educativo cami­no a iniciarse.

“Es decir, que somos el país de las desigualda­des de oportunidades; eso tiene un impacto en la educación, porque di­ficulta y a veces compli­ca el código de paradig­ma educativo del país, que nos está llevando de la modalidad presencial a la educación a distan­cia”, precisó Fulcar.
