Desde el Campamento en defensa a la tres causales, integrantes del Comité Central del PLD reafirman apoyo a las mujeres y sus derechos.

Los miembro del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana le pidieron al Presidente Luis Abinader que use su influencia en el Congreso Nacional como lo hizo para cambiar la ley del INAPA y para pedir de forma rápida y libre de tránsito miles de millones de pesos en préstamos.

Como un acto de responsabilidad social y atendiendo a la realidad que viven las mujeres dominicanas, hemos venido aquí a hacer un llamado público sobre la despenalización de la interrupción del embarazo en las tres causales, es decir, cuando peligra la vida de la mujer, por violación o incesto y por embarazos no viables.

Estamos convencidos que la despenalización de la interrupción del embarazo en las tres causales que mencionamos, NO AFECTA en lo absoluto a los ciudadanos y ciudadanas que no crean en esta alternativa, porque es estrictamente voluntario, sin embargo, el no aprobarlo, afecta física y emocionalmente a aquellas mujeres que necesitan tener la opción de elegir cómo continuar su vida de una manera menos traumática, sobre todo, a las mujeres más pobres que no cuentan con la posibilidad de viajar a otros países para ser atendidas.

Hacemos un llamado a la sociedad y a nuestro Congreso a que colaboren con esta causa. ¡Saquemos a la República Dominicana de esta condición de desigualdad para las mujeres innecesaria e injusta!

Nos indigna ver cómo se han incrementado las violaciones de niñas, producto a las condiciones de aislamiento por la Pandemia del Covid-19, sin que el Estado Dominicano les ofrezca opciones sobre su cuerpo, del cual son dueñas y fueron forzadas.

Nuestro país tiene que dar un salto importante en este sentido al siglo XXI, por esto, nos hemos congregado aquí, para dar un apoyo importante a esta causa social a la que no podemos dar la espalda. Como nosotros, hay más militantes en el PLD que apoyan las tres causales, a quienes invitamos a participar en esta lucha por el país.
