Dicen Hospital Ney Arias Lora está preparado para dar asistencia a turistas

La Dirección General del hospital Ney Arias Lora informó que el centro está listo para recibir a los extranjeros que lo visiten buscando asistencia.

El director del hospital traumatológico, Julio Landrón, aseguró que el centro dispone de todas las herramientas para brindar asistencia integral a los turistas que necesiten ser asistidos.

Los turistas que lleguen al centro será asistidos y los expedientes serán remitidos a las prestadoras de seguros Reservas y ARS Humano, que fungirán como prestadoras de los servicios relacionadas a la salud.

“Nosotros estamos ya dando el servicio, cualquier turista que esté hospedado en algunos de los hoteles del país y tenga algún inconveniente puede visitar este centro, donde recibirá una atención de calidad y humanización”, explicó Landrón.

De igual forma, Landrón adelantó que firmarán un convenio con el director general del Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Turística (Cestur), para facilitar la asistencia a los turistas que requieran atenciones.

El director del centro de salud sostuvo un primer encuentro con el capitán de Navío Wilfredo Martínez Navarro, del Cestur y desde ya se coordina una reunión para concretizar el acuerdo a favor de la salud de los turistas.

Mediante este plan se busca ofrecer a los turistas que visiten el país cobertura a las atenciones de urgencia y emergencias que puedan presentarse durante su estadía, incluyendo el COVID-19, así como los servicios de hospitalización y ambulatorios requeridos.

A los fines de posibilitar la identificación de los beneficiarios al momento de requerir un servicio el usuario debe presentar el pasaporte, así como el número de asegurado que le fue asignado, y en caso de no contar con el último se ha habilitado una línea de atención directa.

Landrón resaltó que atendiendo al mandato del presidente Luis Abinader de garantizar el acceso a los servicios de salud a los turistas que elijan como destino la República Dominicana, el hospital Ney Arias Lora está preparado para brindar el servicio habitual de calidad, calidez y humanización.

El funcionario dio garantía a la población de que en caso necesario todos los miembros, colaboradores y voluntarios estarán a disposición para servirles ante un eventual emergencia.
