SANTO DOMINGO, República Dominicana.- La Dirección General de Contrataciones Públicas (DGCP) y la Dirección General de Contabilidad Gubernamental (Digecog), firmaron un convenio donde acordaron intercambiar información de las bases de datos de Proveedores de Contrataciones Públicas y el Sistema de Administración de Bienes (Siab) de Digecog.
El acuerdo indica que las instituciones deberán proporcionarse entre sí todos los datos que sean necesarios para alcanzar los niveles de calidad deseados en la prestación de los servicios, aplicar los mecanismos de seguridad adecuados, utilizar servicios web entre los sistemas y que la periodicidad de actualización de la información de proveedores suministrada a través del servicio debe ser diaria.
“Con esta iniciativa marcamos una tendencia de seguir integrando, conociendo e intercambiando los sistemas y herramientas de las distintas instituciones para lograr un mejor desarrollo de nuestras competencias y responsabilidades, ofrecer mejores servicios a la ciudadanía y contribuir a la eficiencia y los mecanismos de prevención y control”, expresó Carlos Pimentel, director general de la Digecog.
De su parte, Félix Antonio Santana, director de Digecog, manifestó que a través de este tipo de acuerdo “enmarcamos la hermandad, la comunicación y la transparencia que debe hacer entre las instituciones, además de buscar la economía de los recursos públicos mediante la colaboración interinstitucional. Con este acuerdo enviamos un mensaje a la sociedad dominicana de que nosotros estamos de frente al sol en cuanto a nuestras gestiones en la administración pública”.
Este convenio permitirá que Digecog pueda consultar los proveedores del Estado para la adquisición de determinados productos y servicios, y que la DGCP pueda acceder a toda la información sobre las adquisiciones de activos fijos, tanto muebles como inmuebles, de las instituciones y así conocer cuándo y cómo se adquirió y a qué proveedor fue adjudicado.
El acuerdo, firmado en la sede de la DGCP, contó además con la participación de las subdirectoras de Contrataciones Públicas, Crystal Fiallo y Ruth Henríquez, y por parte de Digecog, con Luis Darío Terrero, encargado Administrativo y Financiero; Wandy Hierro, director de Procesamiento Contable y Estado Financiero y Rafael Neris Guerrero, encargado del Dpto. de Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación.
