Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- El Ministerio de Educación e Inicia Educación renovaron el acuerdo de colaboración para el desarrollo de iniciativas orientadas a la mejora de los logros de aprendizajes de los estudiantes y para el fortalecimiento institucional del MINERD.
Con la renovación de este Acuerdo Marco se consolidan los esfuerzos trabajados a la fecha, y se definen los criterios para desarrollar y promover nuevas oportunidades identificadas dentro del ámbito de la educación.
De manera concreta, y dada la coyuntura de la pandemia COVID 19, Inicia Educación está aportando al MINERD, en el nivel inicial, con la formación de 512 docente a nivel nacional, con metodología, asistencia experta y el desarrollo del programa Aprendiendo en Casa que, está dirigido a 8,000 estudiantes y 1,000 docentes.
En el nivel de 2do ciclo de secundaria, está aportando en la metodología enfocada en la propuesta educativa y el enfoque por competencias. Cerca de 14,000 profesionales del nivel, tanto docentes, equipos técnicos y equipos de gestión, están siendo formados bajo la estrategia y orientación de las guías elaboradas con la colaboración con la Unión Europea y el Proyecto ProETP.
Desde la firma del primer acuerdo Inicia Educación ha aportado al sistema público dominicano, beneficiando a miles de estudiantes, docentes y directores de centros educativos con programas de formación y acompañamiento, además ha trabajo de la mano de las áreas administrativas para robustecer la institucionalidad del MINERD.
El acuerdo fue firmado por el Ministro de Educación Roberto Fulcar y el Director Ejecutivo de Inicia Educación, Antonio Caparrós.
Fulcar, dijo que “La concertación y la alianza público privadas continuarán siendo un pilar y una práctica de nuestra gestión frente al MINERD, porque la experiencia enseña que cuando muchos arriman hombros por una causa, en este caso la de la educación, los frutos pueden ser abundantes y oportunos”.
Reconoció los aportes de Inicia al sistema educativo dominicano y la definió como un aliado útil para el nuevo modelo educativo que comienza en nuestro país.
Mientras Director Ejecutivo de INICIA EDUCACIÓN, Antonio Caparrós indicó que “Inicia Educación sigue presente, apoyando de manera coherente a los objetivos que tenemos como país y ayudando activamente en las soluciones de los retos que la pandemia COVID-19 ha impuesto. Creemos que todos los sectores debemos confluir ante esta misión de trabajar por la educación. Este es el momento de estar todos unidos y coordinados, y aportar con creatividad a solucionar los problemas que amenazan nuestro sistema educativo”, indicó.
