SANTO DOMINGO, República Dominicana.- La oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) pronosticó pocas nubes y sol durante las horas de este lunes, mientras que para la tarde y períodos de la noche, se esperan chubascos y tronadas locales.

Las condiciones climáticas se verán reflejadas en las regiones suroeste, la Cordillera Central y el Gran Santo Domingo. En las otras localidades, se espera un cielo de nubes dispersas, siendo medio nublado en ocasiones. Esto se debe a que una onda tropical transitará sobre el territorio y carece de humedad.

En tanto para mañana martes, las probabilidades de precipitaciones estarán hacia las cordilleras Oriental y Central. También en puntos de las regiones sureste y suroeste, generadas por la presencia de una vaguada cerca de la porción oriental. Sin embargo, en las demás regiones predominarán condiciones de buen tiempo y precipitaciones escasas.

Distrito Nacional: Soleado con nubes dispersas. Incrementos nubosos en la tarde con chubascos locales.

Santo Domingo Oeste: Nubosidad dispersa y sol. Medio nublado a nublado en la tarde con aguaceros locales y posibles tronadas.
